Shelley Wilson in collaboration with Consultant Psychiatrist Dr. Justin Sauer and his team looked at dementia and subsequent ‘loss of identity’, examining its impact on the mental health of the sufferer, their family and the overall consequences for mental stability in society. Shelley endeavored to stimulate debate around ‘identity’ and the stigma attached to its loss.
